There was a typo in original post. You disengage TACC, let the car regen and a second later activate TACC again. The car recognizes the stopped car in front every time and comes to a slow steady stop. Works every time for me.

Yes, but see the point above of disengaging TACC and then activating it again (I assume the OP meant activate tacc) and then it is able to recognize the stationary car and stop. I use this all the time and it works without fail. So looks like it does recognize stationary objects when you start...

Couldn't agree with you more. That's pretty much looks like he and Tesla operates. They mostly, if not always, miss deadlines, but in the end they are still beating their competitors (so far)...

I don't think I can buy Bolt in WA yet. Maybe now you can but like Electroman said, Tesla with its range and the super charging network makes it unique. My 75d is the only car I own and I have taken it everywhere. It's really easy to plan a road trip. Not sure how easy it would with Bolt.

In a way yes. But being in software/product development, I know how things go, so I had set my exceptions for something like this. So yeah, I am not surprised or angry about the delay. It is how things go when you are building something new and complex.

Yeah, joking mostly except if someone decides to drive speed limit or less on the left lane. That drives me nuts. And even more so if you cut me off and then decide to go slower than I was. Then you lose the right to complain about tailgating!

I set mine to 2, just because I feel I should not set it to 1. When I drive myself, I am usually at 1 or less (if you are not going fast enough).
