AFAIK, that is just a parts distribution center and will not affect the sale of vehicles. Changing the rules for sales would require legislation at the state level, and that seems incredibly unlikely.

I really don't understand why people are so sceptical of their timeline. They've launched three products into volume production with remarkably few issues. Their production execution of their strength.
They aren't as bad off as they appear, tbh. They still have well over $7B. My biggest concern is the early stages of launch can be really expensive. They'll need every $$ at that point.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, most of those are issues that Tesla faced as well. Tesla did manage better gross margins, though. Also, Tesla didn't make the mistake of needing an entirely new factory to launch Model 3.

Having an extra outlet is no big deal. The ones at that house are decent grade too. You don't need massive penetration for $100 of parts on a new home to be worthwhile.

Tbh, it probably should be code. Afaik, all houses with gas ovens still get a 14-50, just in case they swap to electric. If we can manage that, why not an outlet in the garage?
