UK Base - Driving to Europe

https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/what-happens-when-you-drive-from-uk-to-europe-headlight-self-drive-overtaking.251723/ This thread discusses this issue. It seems that an update has happened and the car adjusts automically when you drive on the continent.

    MYLR all season tyres

I have done 11000 miles on my Continental AllSeasonContact (255/45/19/104/Y) and I have had no punctures or any issues at all with them.

    MYLR all season tyres

Sorry about the delay, it seems that I turned off my notifications. I have uploaded some pictures for you to check out. Judging from the pictures I have seen of some of the other tyres, the Contis fit is very much the same as the OEM Hankooks. I am very pleased with these tyres as I can notice...

    MYLR all season tyres

I have just returned from a trip to Arcachon Bay which is near Bordeaux on the west coast of France and thought that I would share some details on the summer performance of my Continental AllSeasonContact in 255/45/19/104/Y/ (my winter info is in the same thread). The temperature was hot and...

What happens when you drive from UK to Europe? Headlight? Self drive overtaking?

I will try this but am not sure that it will help as the lights seem to be calibrated fine for UK driving.

What happens when you drive from UK to Europe? Headlight? Self drive overtaking?

My previous trips were in a different vehicle. I just noted this as the amount of people flashing me indicated that there is definately an issue with the lights in my MY.

What happens when you drive from UK to Europe? Headlight? Self drive overtaking?

I recently drove from Calais to Reims in the dark in my MYLR 2022. I was flashed many times in the three hours. It seemed like mostly lorries were flashing me, but it was obvious that the lights were not calibrated correctly for the situation. That has not happened to me before on previous...

    MYLR all season tyres

I purchased the Continental AllSeasonContact in 255/45/19/104/Y about three weeks ago and travelled 1500 miles to the Alps and back. I am very happy with them. I cannot share a comparison with the Pirelli SF2 or Michelin CC2. They were actually my first choice due to the "A" rolling resistance...

    750 Miles in ‘23 LR Model Y

I love travelling on the train through the Channel Tunnel. It is more expensive than the ferry but you just cannot beat driving onto the train, staying on your car and 35 minutes later you drive off and onto the Motorway. Some pics below for interest.

    750 Miles in ‘23 LR Model Y

I have just arrived back home from a similar trip today. I went from London to La Plagne in the French Alps and back. I have a 2022 Model Y LR with standard 19" Gemini Wheels. I fitted Continental AllSeasonContact tyres before I travelled so was a bit concerned what this would do to my range. My...
