I did exactly the same recently with my 2016 Model S. I too believe I got more money with the FUSC left with the car I sold than any benefit keeping it for my new car was worth. It’s hard to measure accurately, but I’m good with my decision.

If you decline the 1st VIN, is the offer to transfer existing supercharging still good on the 2nd VIN?

I plan on leaving the supercharging with the car. I will get a pic of the IC and MCU. Not sure what options/features from the app you’d like. The MCU screen was replaced once under warranty as it had the common problem of yellowing. It’s been fine since they replaced it
