Is the new Macan EV a MY killer?

I don’t think you understand how Porsche works. Nobody buys the base model. It doesn’t even have heated seats! Rather every single option is a la carte or they have a few packages to give you the standard model most other brands would have.

Unplugged Performance's new PFC bake pads.

Did you have any experience with these in the rain? It's about 5-10C here and in the rain I've found the Unplugged Street and Track to be a bit "mushy" off the top. I've put in a note with them to see what might be up but was a bit surprised at this since they advertise "more bite" rather than...

Have creaking noise when turning sharply after installing MPP page mill front rotors???

That’s a bit concerning that made for the vehicle parts don’t fit precisely. Bad install or ill fitting parts?

    Strange Issue Driving Straight

Make that Sport mode. Comfort mode is where it was first discovered.

    4-6 weeks for replacement glass??

Likely part of the contract. Usually it’s other parties that make aftermarket glass… it’s probably something related to liability of AP/FSD why nobody makes 3rd party glass…if I were to guess.

Steering wheel pulls while FSD beta not engaged

Is it like this? Strange Issue Driving Straight We had all the safety features off to be sure it wasn’t one of those.

Curious why Tesla penalizes Canadians more than other manufacturers?

It goes both ways. Tesla is also unique in that their vehicles are delivered weeks from being built, and likely more reactive to exchange. But when we bought our X in 2019 we bought cheaper than the Americans could.

EPAS_w001 - Our Model X almost killed us today :(

My wife had the same problem, the steering rack in the X is exposed to the elements far more than a normal car (I guess?) and she could barely turn the wheel. We had done the previous recall where they shoot some urethane in it to try and seal it but it was pretty bad and scary when not...

    Strange Issue Driving Straight

We never got resolution, although we did have to replace the steering rack(it almost seized), the issue persists. There was a service bulletin about the X power steering sensors misinterpreting road bumps as steering input but ours was not part of that recall. I found comfort mode seems to mask...

Supercharger - Squamish, BC - Commercial Way

Yes, this was the case. Every parking stall that had a Supercharger was left uncleared but was still accessible as you could just drive on the snow. All the normal parking spots were cleared and had no snow. I should have taken more pictures but the stark difference between the two cleared...

Supercharger - Squamish, BC - Commercial Way

You can see in the photo the blocked stalls and the fact they cleared the parking spots and left the Supercharger spots uncleared.

Supercharger - Squamish, BC - Commercial Way

The snow clearing for this location intentionally leaves the Supercharger stalls uncleared. Not only that but they put the snow pile in front of the stalls. This contractor really doesn’t like Teslas. I tried to call Tesla to let them know, but you know how that goes. Still accessible at the...

    Model X Reliability

Our 3 we had mostly delivery issues, but also headlights and taillights and turn stalk replaced. Our X... she's been a bit more high maintenance. No showstoppers, but about 25 service appointments since we got her in 2019. And there's still issues they haven't fixed...sigh. My wife loves it...

"New" Versus "Old" 2020 Continental Model X Tires – Lessons Learned from Recent Tire Purchases

Our X is running the exact "old" tire but not the T0 version. Not sure what other differences but it doesn't have the foam as I saw that was missing when they were mounting them.
