I'll give you one more thing.... my model S is a 2016.....ALL the airbags went off and really none of them should have but the deer I hit managed to hit in exactly the right spot....SO..... my main Pyro fuse DID NOT BLOW! What actually blew was the 12v pyro fuse! Nobody..... not the collision...

I have searched for this so many different ways but can't seem to find the answer... I have seen Tesla's that were in accidents and had airbags deploy STILL ABLE TO DRIVE AND CHARGE. My 12v is fine, I replaced the lower pyro fuse (2017 model S located it on the bottom of the car near the front...

But, I was told by a tow truck driver that Tesla made it so the main pyro will blow in an accident that is serious enough to deploy airbags in case frist responders need to cut into the car, that way they won't get electrocuted

Oh my goodness! I replaced my main Pyro and not the one by the 12v battery. I cannot get the car to move, everything works but driving. I will get that other fuse done and see what happens. Any insight about what it will take to get it driving? All the airbags deployed, the seatbelt tensioners...

Oh this is awful! I can't believe they aren't customer prioritized. You already spent your money so they don't care to expedite? I understand they are behind on deliveries and perhaps the parts you needed are already spoken for in cars that others are waiting for, but you've already paid for...

I really appreciate the knowledge sharing going on in here, I used to work in an auto salvage (junk yard) and have lots of experience with live airbags and basically anything to do with disassembling a car and of course re-assembling, BUT..... it would be so very helpful if there was a thread...

Wait you're saying the main Pyro fuse doesn't blow when the airbags deploy? I have seen it said numerous times that the main 2000A fuse blows in an accident that deploys the airbags so as to protect first responders from high voltage lines being active in the car. Are you certain of this?
