I nearly bought a used car from a guy who had the same warranty. He got his fixed under that warranty. One thing to note is that MCU2 is, afaik, $1500 so probably better to get that upgrade than to just get the screen replaced for $900 if you can't get anywhere on warranty coverage

With respect to the connectors, the best thing to do is to just yank your seat bottom up, it takes a couple minutes and no tools (let me know if you want more specifics). I posted a pic of the connector in my 2nd to last pic so you can see if it matches what you have. I wouldn't be surprised...
