FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I'm sad that it's not on the 2024.14 branch, which my mylr is running. By the time 12.4 is pushed to 2024.14, 12.5 would be out soon. Maybe I should skip 12.4 altogether and wait for 12.5 instead.

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Back in the 90s my gf, now wife, used to live in Aptos and I lived in San Jose. I would take hwy 17 to visit her every weekend. Never got used to the drive and it was always a stressful experience. Now it's a piece of cake w fsd.

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Took a trip w my 24 mylr from my home in the east bay to Santa Cruz for my wife's bday. Fsd 12.3.6 performed great on hwy 17. For those that don't know, hwy 17 is a very whindy 2 lane (each way) hwy where lots of accidents happen because of how whindy it is. Zero interventions. I found it...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I had something funny happen to me today. I was on the freeway with fsd enabled v12.3.4 and there was a motorcycle passing my car on the right. After the motorcycle had already passed me, the car did the maneuver where it moved slightly to the left to give the motorcycle space. What a...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Is it really that hard to port fsd v12 to the 2024.8 branch?

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I would just be happy if they fixed some of the basics issues like staying in the same lane when making a left turn or not going straight if the car is in a left turning lane. These are basic issues that are still present in v12.

Tesla engineers needs to drive up to Roseville from Fremont and film this intersection and feed it to the NN.

Does whole mars catalog have an account on here. :-) Is there a bigger Tesla stan than him?

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

This was on the freeway and my understanding is that v11 is still rules based and not using any training video?

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

The problem w fsd v12 is that it still doesn't pass the wife test. It still makes too many basic mistakes. My wife doesn't trust it, she won't enable it when she drives herself and she gets nervous when I'm driving the car w fsd enabled and she's a passenger. When it passes the wife test then...

All US Cars capable of FSD will be enabled for one month trial this week

I like the fact that v12 drives much more natural and humanlike however it's still getting a lot of the basic functionality wrong. Like not staying in the correct lane when making a left. Going straight instead of left in a left only lane. I can understand that it misses some edge cases, but...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I've been pretty bullish on fsd v12 as about 90% of my drives have been disengagement free in my little suburb city in the SF Bay Area. However, yesterday I took a trip to San Francisco itself and I was really looking forward to what FSD could do and I had a bunch of disengagements that it was...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

The v11 highway stack isn't that great. I had a scenario where fsd was changing into another lane when another car from the other side was getting into the same lane and if I hadn't disengaged, my car would have hit the other car which was another Tesla. Not sure if the other Tesla was using...

    Once again sc**wed by Tesla

I've been loosely following tesla and EVs since the model s was introduced, yet I didn't purchase my first tesla until august of last year. I didn't feel like paying the early adopter prices and I wanted to wait for all the kinks and bugs to be worked out. Very happy with my model 3 and I...

    Once again sc**wed by Tesla

This is the price u pay for being an early adopter. Tesla is a tech company and tech is inherently deflationary.
