AP1 - Can it back into a garage to self-park?

Yes it can summon in reverse.

    Guessing this won't buff out...

That’s definitely not correct. I had a cracked windshield replaced with an insurance claim and it was reported to Carfax somehow. There was no police report. I think repair shops report. It showed up as an accident.

My S75 damaged by Tesla just days after delivery

I also don’t think this would show on Carfax....but you should set this expectation with them as well. There won’t be an insurance claim and I doubt the body shop reports work they do for Tesla.

My S75 damaged by Tesla just days after delivery

First...that’s unfortunate and I’m sorry to hear your experience. It’s certainly frustrating. My experience wasn’t quite like that, but I did have the service center do some paint damage to my car (down to the primer) when it was a couple months old. They fixed it and I couldn’t see any evidence...

    Politics - Quarantine Thread

Nope. When I bought my Volt, I drove one block before realizing the heat/AC didn't work. I went back and they couldn't fix it right away so I went home with a loaner. It turned out to be a wiring issue they fixed the next day and I never had a problem afterwards.

    Open Letter to Elon Musk

I agree with the comments above, but my question is what leads the OP to believe simulation is not being used? There seems to be evidence they are using simulation, such as this job posting for an Autopilot Simulation Engineer. Furthermore, I think it's dangerous NOT to include shadow driving...

Got New Primacy Tires on the Rear and now Car handles Weird...

Actually, we have two Model S’s with 19 inch wheels. One pre-refresh 2015 with Michelin Primacy tires and the other post-refresh 2016 with Goodyear Eagle Touring tires on the new wheels. The Goodyear’s have far less road noise...assuming that isn’t somehow related to the newer wheels. Edit: and...

Thanks. That explains the surprisingly large jump in range from 90D to 100D.

    Faster 75?

That’s my guess. If so, I’m certain there was a hush clause included. I say this so the OP doesn’t have to if that’s the case.

You’ve seen the planned superchargers in Latvia and Estonia right?

Level 3 Autonomy - In Production

I’d be more impressed if they said it was a bug they would work out before delivery. In practice I’d be annoyed if that was expected behavior. I would want it to fall back to level 2 control rather than asking me to take over.

Could you provide a source for 81800Wh? That seems like a lot less than I’d expect for a battery advertised as 90kwh.

Level 3 Autonomy - In Production

It doesn’t seem to follow this bias at other parts of the video. Look at 4:31. The car stops right in the middle...much further to the right than the car in front of it.

Level 3 Autonomy - In Production

Your argument would be more compelling if he didn’t immediately take over and steer away from the guardrail. The car hadn’t been hugging the guardrail until it beeped and started steering towards it. Of course my AP1 Model S has done similar....I’m not trying to claim it wouldn’t....but not in...

    Miles out of a S90D

Interesting. You should definitely get more range, but you should get more input from Phoenix dwellers....perhaps it’s the cabin overheat protection cooling the car all day if you park in the sun? Maybe that energy use doesn’t get reported? You could try turning that feature off for a few days.
