US Superchargers open to CCS vehicles

You are correct, I'm getting ahead of the problem and hopefully it will all work out ok. But I'm skeptical. : )

US Superchargers open to CCS vehicles

I certainly hope so! Right now I would be reluctant to take a long road trip if I can't rely to having prompt access to Superchargers. I've driven the I-5 and I-80 corridors on many long trips, and it's great right now. Please Tesla, don't ruin a good thing.

US Superchargers open to CCS vehicles

It's also strange that the pedestal is installed with the cable and charge-handle attached on the opposite sides of the SC compared to where they normally are.

US Superchargers open to CCS vehicles

Tesla's big advantage over other EV's has always been the Supercharger network and the simplicity/reliability of the charging process. By opening up the network, in the manner that they are doing it, they eliminate their advantages and punish Tesla owners. I really don't get it. If they wanted...

    83" box in cargo area

Do like they do in the rest of the world. Tow a small trailer for those items that won't fit inside. Or find a friend with a R1T.

Tesla model 3 SR+ 20k miles in SAN DIEGO

Whatever the final price is, they are getting a nice car! Very few cars match this one.

    Costco Tire Replacement Policy

I have been told the same thing at Costco in relation to another all wheel drive vehicle, so it may not be related to Teslas specifically. I recently had one tire on our Tesla get damaged by a road hazard and it was not repairable. So, I went to America's Tire and they were willing to install...

PPF and Ceramic Coating options in Bay Area

Joe is definitely OCD, but it’s OC Detailing for the business name. I can also vouch for the quality of their work! Highly recommended.

    Western Canada Superchargers

They park there without plugging in to avoid getting charged. This has been going on for years now.

    Western Canada Superchargers

Yes, Kelowna is where they operate. That's the original Kelowna Supercharger in the picture.

    Western Canada Superchargers

Hey, I even found a picture I took on one of those trips....

    Western Canada Superchargers

I've been using that SC on road trips for the past 6-years and I can confirm they are often blocking. They seem to like to park there and not bother to plug in. Hey, no idle fees that way, right? At least that's been my observation on the few trips through Kelowna that I've made. Pretty lame.

Anyone have experience with Bridgestone Quiettrack tires

So far, so good. I've put almost exactly 40,000 miles on the tires (still plenty of tread left, still good road manners) and I have not seen a drop in efficiency. I watch my average efficiency numbers when we travel, and as an example, I just completed a 3,400 mile road trip through high...

Supercharger - Harrisburg, OR (LIVE May 2022, 8 V3 stalls)

Friday, 5/27/22 @ about 11:00. The supercharger is now live and on the navigation screen. I was heading to Springfield and brought up the supercharger list to see how busy it was and noticed Harrisburg which I couldn't recall seeing before. Figured I better check it out and arrived (according...

    3M Crystalline Windshield Woes

I had similar issues in a model s, it had to be re-done and that fixed the problem. A few years later, the windshield was replaced and I used a different installer, Walnut Creek Customs, to do the tint on the new glass. They did it right the first time. Highly recommended. They are very familiar...
