Anyone heading to Vegas in 2 weeks for (what admittedly seems will be a lame) CES? I doubt Tesla will be there, but last year there were some EV displays (like the wireless charging prototypes).

Yep, I will be heading there (but not driving the Tesla). With the advent of the Internet there is no real reason for CES except that you get to wander around and touch the new things you'v already heard about online.

Yeah, the internet killed many shows for me (E3, CES etc), but hey, free trip to Vegas and you sometimes get to see some cool stuff.

The guy in driver's seat was a higher up in BMW, I got his business card.

Panasonic & Tesla had announced a battery partnership around this time,
