Two UK LEAF owners went over to Amsterdam for the premiere of ROTEC. As you can see they were joined by a few locals.

While there, they checked out some of the local infrastructure.

Epyon dual CHAdeMO charging - I love that this is so sleek and compact.

Yes, Amsterdam is really doing a great job! Can't say anything less about that.

There are also a few EV-taxi's driving around in the city. Need to jump in one of those one day!

Btw, how did the UK leafs get there? The ferry from Harwich to Hoek van Holland and charge on board? From there they drove to Amsterdam?

Apparently the actual charger mechanisms are hidden in a bigger "Base Station" box somewhere nearby.

Epyon Power Terra 50.X System | Plug In America
A system consisting of a number of charge posts together with a base station. Designed for fleets and commercial uses. Compact, space saving design (versus having to park next to a large self-contained charger).
Each charge post can be configured with either one or two DC Quick Charge connectors (CHAdeMO compliant), or one DC QC connector and a 16A AC connection (Mennekes).
Requires an Epyon Power Terra 50.x base station, which can be situated up to 20 meters away...

The official map can be found at: Oplaadpunten elektrisch vervoer

If you see number under a icon it means there are X stations in the near vicinity.

I had a conference in Amsterdam yesterday, around the corner of where the conference was held there was a public charging station. Parked at 10:00 and left again at 23:00.

Really nice to see those stations everywhere and being used actively! I saw various Leafs driving around, another Roadster, some iMiev's and other stuff. I guess you can safely say that Amsterdam is far ahead with this.
