Check Antenna message

I had Sirius/XM establish an account for my Model S. I cannot receive any stations even though I have moved the car to an open area. I get the following message, "check antenna". The XM tech and Tesla tech both said, "Wait for an hour or so and you will receive a signal". Of course I am still not getting reception but the "check antenna" message is still on the screen. Help?
