We finally confirmed our Model S today. Delivery could be as soon as the end of a March but most likely April. Our first out of state (MA) trip will likely be to see the Impractical Jokers/Tenderloins at Foxwoods. Plugshare says there is a place to plug in but doesn't provide any additional information. Does anyone know anything more about this?

We also will have our first opportunity to try out a Supercharger. Is there anywhere around East Greenwich to get a good lunch while we wait?

It's never too early to plan, right?!

East Greenwich has an Outback Steakhouse, a McDonalds, a few other places, accross the street is a Texas Roadhouse. You might also be ICEd, the location is next to a Walgreens, and no one sees to respect the signage.

Also Panera Bread, at the opposite end from the Walgreens. And a good wine shop next door to Walgreens that does tastings on I think Fridays and Saturdays (for your passengers ).

Any place we can stock up on liquor before heading to Foxwoods? I'm not a wine drinker, so I don't know if the Savory Grape will have the type of stuff we are looking for. Looking forward to the 260 mile round trip drive from my house to Foxwoods. We already have 1,500 miles on the car but haven't let the range get below 75 miles and haven't range charged yet.

Yes, the Savory Grape has a liquor license. My recollection is that it was fairly high-end stuff (also suggested by their website). The Greenwich Liquor Store is about a mile south along Rte 2, which looks to carry a full range of beverages (for your consumption AT Foxwoods, I trust!).

I charged 4 times in the past week and a half at East Greenwich on my way back and forth from NY to Provincetown. We dined at Outback and Panera Bread both close at 10pm. All four times, I was the only Tesla charging.

I saw in an AARP publication that outback gives a discount for AARP card. I didn't get to try it, I found out after my meals there.

Hyannis at the Court house has two J1772 free chargers. 20mi per hour. Walk though the lot to Main Street. Directly across the street is Naked Oyster. Fabulous food (they have their own oyster farm). Note that you have to press open charger port in MS and stop charger to get the adapter out of MS.

I made the trip from Cape Cod to Foxwoods and back last weekend. No issues at all. Charged at approximately 285 miles per hour. It was the first range charge and the charge finished with 272 miles of rated range. We ate at Panera Bread and the charge was complete before we returned to the car. All spots were empty and ICE free when we got there and there was one other Tesla charging when we returned. Overall a very positive experience and we will do it again.
