Nice! I did in fact ask him some questions about my delivery window which he replied to an hour or so later. Wow, there is actually proactive communication happening.
Well done Tesla. I think (hope) that George B lit a fire under the customer service team to not just respond to incoming questions, but to take some initiative and reach out.

I'm just reaching out to provide you a status update. At this point your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) hasn't yet been assigned. That will be your biggest "red flag" prior to production, and I don't anticipate it being assigned for at least another week.
Definitely feel free to give me a call or shoot me a note for the latest status update.
