Anyone from Australia who can confirm if performance demo drives are now open to the public?

"You can improve the efficiency of the cabin heating by reducing your selected acceleration mode." Nope. Looks like I'll be telling passengers the heater is broke. Use your seat warmers!

Worth reading this person's experience, although he seems to really be into the whole brevity thing.

I hope I get to test drive the M3P before getting VIN and taking delivery. I'm still excited about it, but feels like it drives quite uniquely so I'd much prefer to demo one instead of the YOLO situation we're all in right now.

No. He just had it show in the app. He is assuming days. It is usually 3 days from when you get a VIN

Super jealous. Wonder if it was a SR/LR -> Performance swap. Chicago day one orders are in the July - August

Looks like all the folks with VINs so far ordered the white interior. Interesting how the tables have turned! All the Highland LR orders with white interiors got heavily delayed. My Service Advisor specifically told me to go for a black interior when ordering to get the M3P sooner.

No complaints there for me! In the end, they did me a favor delaying white interior, so they could announce the Performance while I waited. LR->P switcharoo person here.
