That is a model Y is it the same for the new X?
I just had full front XPEL Ultimate Plus installed for $2,200. That was on top of a color change wrap for $5,000, topped off with XPEL Fusion Plus ceramic. I was more concerned with trusting the vendor's quality than getting the best possible price. Besides quite a number of Teslas on site, there was quite a collection of Lamborghinis, McLarens, Maseratis and other much more expensive cars than our beloved Teslas. I decided that I really like these guys and trust them. At that point, best price was no longer a factor.I am considering our XPEL wraps film on the full frontal, the lowest quote I got is $2225.
I am wondering whether it is worth it? I am also considering wrap the back bumper as well, but they quoted me $700.
I am not sure it is worthwhile, It is much more expensive than the window tint, which is my original plan. would love to hear your feedback here. thanks!
Hi was it difficult to tint the entire windshield? How much was it?The rear window on the X is 11%. We just put 50% over it and it's perfect. We did 5% on all the door windows, and 50% on entire windshield.
So you only tint the front windows? My tint guy metered the rears and he got 11%.
I had him do 15%, and it's pretty MFin close. Pic does not do it justice.

Yes. The top windows, hatch, and the second row come from the factory at roughly 20%. In my state it is illegal for the front sides to be less than 20%, so that is what I picked. Turns out very close match to the rear windows from the factory. I did not add tint to the windshield. So you only tint the front windows?
wow very nice. Do you have a photo of the tinted front windshield? Is it just nice (not too dark) in the evening?11% rear sounds about right. Our tint guy recommended 15% so, we did 15% all around since the rear is not UV protected. We also did 50% windshield. All with Suntek Evolve, their new film.

Very nice! Thank you for sharingHere is the 50% windshield. It helps a lot with the heat during the day and not too dark at night.
