Yoona, I continue to struggle with trying to reconcile Vanna (MM favoring $190-$200) and MP ($180); I know you don't think much of MP and the value it brings.

I suspect yesterday's clear breach of the 34-day EMA is of significance and will be of meaningful near-term support.

I did the same; mine is only 10x @ $140 however.

This bear is already trapped; just looking for some wiggle room to break free...with limited injury.

Hourly MACD has been red (begun narrowing) since the final third of yesterday; perhaps local peak has been reached or is near.

Seems I have experienced "culled" and "fleeced"; still around to fight another day though...so "maimed" but not "slaughtered"...yet.

More engaged captures it, albeit at a high level...so it fits. It's EM using (seemingly all) available narratives, willingness to play the game, being less...himself. Overall it's a good sign...I think. But the change is a bit unnerving. Seems a bit tricky to take all at face value.

FWIW I share Max's sentiment. It was clear EM pulled a 180...and it wasn't by accident; it isn't unhealthy to at least be intrigued by that.

Thanks for noticing and sharing this. It seems in a downtrend, it plays a role in resistance. The same effect was observed from end of 9/22 to end of 1/23. I'm paying close attention to see if there will be significance to TSLA breaking through this time.

I'm protecting my shares (that I have held for a while) with net neutral positions (mixture of near to long dated -&+calls and puts)...with time as my only friend. Given the stock's volatility, I'll try to leverage timing the best I can. Good luck to all!

FWIW, I second adiggs and would add that if buy-write is a long-term trading strategy for income, it's key to time the building of the "engine". For the companies we like and know well (as adiggs said in the past regarding owning and experiencing Tesla / FSD is almost a requirement to trading...

At the risk of being redundant, selling puts (to complete your calendar spreads) or buying calls are bullish moves by themselves; either would make sense if you think SP will move up from here. If you expect further downside, there will be a better time to complete the spreads.

Yoona, FWIW, I would consider (study the numbers & consequences of potential outcomes) (1) selling aggressive puts or (2) cover the calls with +C’s…versus buying shares. The trick for me with doing these vertical (or horizontal or diagonal) spreads is their timing; at the risk of overstating...

The time to get in with +c's / -p's is before ER; it's a month away so six handle is possible.
