FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Burned my check and nothing. Guess we are staged for 12.4
  2. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Floating pending value on Fi leads me to think if you check for FW you will get it. Maybe 12.4 will be based on 2024.14.6+?
  3. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

12.3.6s eagerness to accelerate decisively on poor road surfaces causes self induced take over request due to TCS activating longer than ~1 second.

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Nothing real would happen and this thread will grow by 5 pages.

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

There is no way Tesla will release ASS and Banish without being liable for repairs. There's no way.
  6. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

The thought of free trials being on 2024.3.X and then being booted to 2024.8 with 11.4.9 is hilarious to me. Imagine thinking “no wait, I’ll pay” then unlocking 11.4.9.
  7. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I feel like they’re toying slightly with the weights and biases but the model is the same or it’s one giant placebo and they changed nothing. Maybe 12 is e2e (obv) .3 is the actual model? .6 are the tuning changes for weight and bias?
  8. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Looks like no apparent change to the model size. Though, mine is now using Bank B instead of A prior to update.
  9. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

23 M3 No USS Go burn your check. Going to see if the model size changed.
  10. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I’m 12.3.5 without USS. I might try and check later for fun. Not eager to update though.
  11. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Someone check the 12.3.6 model size. Maybe they just changed the weights and biases again. Looking for anything other than 2.17gb.
  12. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

    Nvm it’s large
  13. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

    Mini wave popped
  14. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I think that the Ui update for AMD vs Intel is because they need to free up compute power from the HW3/4 computer to drive 12.4/12.5. If they can simplify the visual model to run on the AMD chip then it’ll give the users eye candy while the FSD model runs to its full potential. You can see...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Would prefer real progress. 12.4.1 or something.
  16. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Supposedly the testers are validating a new version. Why even bother with 12.3.5 if it’s a clear regression.
  17. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

12.3.5 is an actual regression from the videos I’ve seen. This will be the first time I avoid an update if they actually try to push it to me.
  18. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Horrible. If the FSD version hits a curb, it shouldn’t roll out.
  19. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

My ass, they better be trying to fix FSD trying to end the cars life on curbs. This is like a red hot panic issue. The car drives over a curb in a turn and obviously lifts up. Guess what’s suddenly exposed. The battery pack. Imagine totaling the car because the car lifted on a curb and either...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

12.3.5 had two small waves and died. I saw on one YouTube video it went over one curb and insanely close to 3 others. So no fix for that. Hope 12.4 or 12.3.6 has a real fix instead of whatever they’re doing now.
  21. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

We are wayyyyy overdue for a new FW version to pop. It has to be imminent.
  22. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I’d buy the $2k option and then complain so they give you the hardware upgrade for free. Act old and demented. My money…… MY MONEY……..Ahhhgggg…..
  23. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Waiting for 12.3.5 to pop on TeslaFi. Where is 12.4 though.
  24. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I just saw people offered $2k. That’s insane. Should have just been given to them.
  25. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I predict EAP will be free. People that bought EAP will get FSD. This would make sense.
  26. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Praying this next version fixes curbing. Every right turn on FSD is an anxiety filled adventure.
  27. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Pattern indicates new FW will drop any day now. Will most likely be the spring updates bundled with an updated V12.
  28. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I can tell you that if the data bank is exactly the same size in the next update that the car isn’t going to stop curbing and destroying wheels. They need to go into the training set and find whatever idiot drivers are sucking through a green straw while driving onto curbs. Retrain the data set...
  29. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

E2E can be inherently unstable. You can have exact simultaneous scenarios but something benign in one can affect it. Like imagine if everything was exactly the same except one tester had clouds in the sky and one didn’t. It can cause the model to spit out different actions. Nvidia had an entire...
  30. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Possible but based on some more data I found it would be an edge case. There appears to be always be a greater than 10mb difference in each FSDV12 version change.
  31. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Can be, but based on what I’ve seen for 12.3.3 and 12.3.4; is not.
  32. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

What version are you on? It’s more useful in a comparative sense to check if anything changed. Rather than someone changing the version number or actually updating the bank with a new version.
  33. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

The full self driving computer has a dual redundant failsafe. There are two computers. If one fails, the other can take over. When you enter service mode, there is an option to see how much data each is loaded onto each data bank. A and B. This is essentially the model. 12.3.3 and 12.3.4 have...
  34. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I would check the Data bank size for the Ai model to see if anything changed version to version.
  35. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

12.3.3 and 12.3.4 are the same exact models for Model 3
  36. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Who’s going to tell Chuck the versions from 12.3.3 and 12.3.4 on his model 3 are the same?
  37. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Tesla Engineers are literally grabbing popcorn and watching people in model 3s compare 12.3.3 to 12.3.4 when it’s the same model.
  38. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

We need to start associating FSD model sizes with version numbers. 12.3.3 and 12.3.4 are the same thing for 3&Y at 2.17GB Data Bank. Where X is getting 2.11 GB
  39. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

So maybe Model X and S have separate models from 3 and Y. This is what took them time.
  40. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Wait wait. Ok so looks like Model X has different model than Model 3s This model 3 on 12.3.3 has 2.17 GB on bank A My model 3 on 12.3.4 has 2.17 GB on Bank A as well. Anyone with a model 3 going from 12.3.3 to 12.3.4 received no model change. It’s placebo. Chuck cook is using the same...
  41. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Oh crap it did change. This is 12.3.3 right?
  42. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Odd that nobody with 2024.3.10 has checked yet.
  43. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

It would be hilarious if the AP data bank was unchanged and everyone is talking about fake FSD changes.
  44. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Go to vehicle settings list and hit software. Press and hold the model name for 3 consecutive seconds and let go. Enter the word “Service” then follow the above path.
  45. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Hey can you check under service mode what value is under Data Bank A for autopilot on 12.3.3 please. I realized we can check if there was any change to the model this way.
  46. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

This is 2024.3.15 Can someone currently on 2024.3.10 check how big their AP model is? I didn’t notice any changes to driving behavior. Software -> Service -> Infotainment -> Software -> Autopilot Data Bank I remember bank B was like 1.73gb a while back.
  47. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

    🌊 2024.3.15 RN
  48. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

No, I never bought EAP, I’m perpetually broke.
  49. T

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I hope they fixed curbing. I've paid attention to curbs and see witness marks from bad drivers.
