Ohh I’ve never noticed it when pulling forward, definitely seen it when reversing.

Just checked on 14.3 on MY (Oct23 build) and they are not there. Could it be a Highland thing?

Will probably update to 14.8 tonight.

Updated to 14.8 today and I think the auto cancel indicators are performing worse: only switch off sometimes, with corners ok but lane changes (even on clearly marked freeway lanes) much less so. Just my impression day 1.

Anyone else notice this?

Worth installing 14.8 or waiting for 14.9? I see others indicate .9 is bug fixes, so maybe just wait u til it decides to offer 14.9?

I have .8 in my model Y. Haven’t noticed any issues since Thursday and .9 hasn’t been offered to me yet.

I wasn't bothered by anything in 14.8 and haven't noticed any meaningful changes in 14.9

I didn’t get to check out .8 as it installed Friday night and .9 was ready to go Saturday morning so I didn’t get to drive in between

Not sure if it was there or how useful that is (in a car which removes non useful things )

Yeah, that came with 14.3 from memory

It used to be across the top of the side pane. The main thing it tells me is how much regenerative braking capacity I have available before the friction brakes need to bite.

Did you also noticed the media player card down bottom no longer has the input source selector? Damn that is a retrograde step. Can no longer use it to t easily swap between spotify/tunein/radio etc.

Connected to my phone hotspot (Telstra), bam, update.

How did you trigger it to check again? Mine seems to only check once every 24 hours.

It just did it. Like, I went to the software page, it checked and said no update. I turned hotspot on my phone, connected to it via the wifi page and bam, it said update availabl

Man I’ve been doing rain dances trying to get the update haha. I’m hoping it fixes the proximity boot option for me. I monitor all my traffic and the Tesla is one of the rare devices on my network with completely open internet feels dirty letting it talk to connman
