Tesla Motors on German TV

Hey Everyone,

Here's another video for those of you who can't get enough. Great shots of the electric motor and transmission outside of the vehicle too.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZDCtI3kbdU

Does anyone know how to speak / translate from German?

Enjoy

Alex

If you know all about the car then it's pretty easy to follow along and there is enough english under the translation to get the whole thing.

One standout. The name Brad Pitt was mentined for the first time. Pretty sure the narrator was listing buyers.

I'll show this video to a German speaker today to comfirm.

While Tesla is waiting for battery technology to improve, it could kill some time by developing its brand image into "BEV manufacturer to the Stars".

The project codenames have been hinting at it:

Darkstar
Whitestar
Bluestar... :)

Monstar.... that'll be the SUV

The Roadster was introduced in LA to many celebs.
Many vocal customers are Hollywood celebs.
As far as I know, the only sales & service center under construction right now is the one near Hollywood.

So, yeah, I can see what you mean.

But I think Tesla really hopes to go well beyond that niche market.
They already seem to be well focused in that direction. I hope they don't get too fixated just there.

2nd to Hollywood celeb customers could be politicians or Silicon Valley computer company founders. So we have at least 3 typical customer types already. Whitestar should get interest from people with even more varied backgrounds.
