Hi Everyone, new to the forum. I didn't see a specific question/discussion on this so I thought why not start one

BACKGROUND: I purchased a set of Gemini 19" for my Model Y LR AWD. Got the tyres & sensors removed. Got the rims powder coated black. Now installing Goodyear Vector All season tyres. Wondering 2 things...

1) as the new type sensors do not come with a rubber bush and washer that fit from outside, and instead have a built-in stepped rubber on the base of the stem... Will it seal good, having being removed once? I saw 'definitive' answers both 'NO' and 'Yes'

2) I'm paranoid about tyre fitters damaging my rims so I'm trying to decide to install these myself but balancing that against the possibility they don't seal good.... Tyre Shop might say it's my fault if one or more don't seal vs accept responsibility if they install those while mounting the tyres and balancing etc

My aim is just to minimise possibility of them scratching my new powder coat lol

I've included some pics of the stepped seal in the stem, without and without the stem nut. And pics of the Gemini rim powder coated for anyone interested in that. Once I have them on the car, I will post a pic of the car .. blue with black 19" Geminis. Currently it has black 20" induction rims which look great
