Sorry to share the video - but once again TeslaCam proves its usefulness. Hope they also enable other camera angle in future so driver number plate can be easily recognized.

TeslaCam catches careless driver scratching a parked ModelX

Unfortunately not. Video quality is not that great. I could file a police report and get the video footage of the parking lot at the time - fortunately the scratch easily came off after a wash and little rubbing. No visible damage at all.
Would have been nice to use both side angles as well as rear camera. though it will cause too much of data and wearing out of the SSD faster

My car was parked front facing the driveway. He came from the front right side. A right -front camera angle could have captured his numbers - sadly not enabled in current release.

The TeslaCam should also include the rear recording.
I would strongly recommend getting also a dashcam such as Blackvue,
in case you get rear ended in an accident.

Agree - thought the TeslaCams would do the trick but their quality and reliability is not so great.
