Is there going to be an opening party? I've never seen such anticipation and excitement for a location. I wonder if the city is planning something.

Tesla pedestals are wired and closed up this morning. Workers are on top thoughtfully considering working on the chargers
More trenching too! Looks to be for electrical from the transformer.

Do you think they are aiming for pre-thanksgiving opening?
They got the shovels out for some good old hand digging
Haha it makes me wonder if they are reading this thread, and thinking of new ways to drive us crazy. “Let’s bury some conduit then dig it up and move it 3 feet then bury it again. That will really blow their mind”LOL, when I was last there, they had the hand operated compactor out for hours jamming that soil down in place. Doesn't make much sense to do that then dig it right up.
Measure twice, compact once!
Think it through guys!

@RubberToe you should apply to be a part of the Tesla team. Thank you for all of your play-by-play reports on this site!
Aren't those flexible / breakaway posts holding the charging signs?Major progress: Signs now up for "Tesla vehicle charging". Would have thought a better placement would have been behind the ground level conduit runs, but I'm assuming a rubber parking stop will be in place to prevent backing into the sign.
Yes it’s about time to plan the opening party. Quick supercharge then a drink at BJ’s or the wine bar?I get to drive Elon's "gift to the future", the Model 3. No further compensation or accolades are required.
On second thought, perhaps I will allow someone to buy me a beer when we celebrate the Grand Opening of the largest DCFC station West of the Mississippi.
