With transformer and meter in place just waiting for High Voltage connection and Tesla commissioning.Really appreciate this update. A trip from Edmonton to Prince George should be no issue now. Thanks!

With such a weak HV connection in McBride I originally thought Tesla might use a battery system like the On The Road CCS chargers at Chevron, but apparently not. Probably will have some peak load control on the group of chargers.Really appreciate this update. A trip from Edmonton to Prince George should be no issue now. Thanks!
I've driven Prince George to McBride this winter in -30C in my 2020 AWD and had 25% remaining (made a video on my youtube channel about it 'Tesla Prince'). Just drive slowly until you know you are safely close enough to the other side, I had driven 105 km/h in -30C.
There are 2 x 25kw ministry of transport CCS/Chademo chargers at the Slim Creek Rest area between PG and McBride as well as a J1772 charger. Slim Creek Rest Area | Bend, BC | EV Station
Thanks for the updates, Im coming through there in July and hope that they will be up and runningStill waiting for these to be turned on, the old fence is gone but these new ribbons are up
Did you get a chance to look at the meter? If the display is on then there’s power at the transformer and just waiting on Tesla. If not, then still waiting on power company. It would seem weird to have a meter installed but not powered. All paved and fence is gone, but still no power.
