Rear hatch weld issue

Wanted to update with pictures. Normal differences between plastic painted parts and metal painted parts. I’m happy with the fix. SS said it would probably come back. 😂

rijc99 (the OP): Wow, long time, no post. What was the resolution of your issue?
Oh shoot sorry, the Tesla connected body shop just put some kind of body caulk and painted over it despite my protest that it was a band-aid fix. That held up for a few months then started becoming obvious it was repaired because the color didn't stay. It was getting darker and darker at which time cracks began to form in the caulk or sealant they used.

I got rear ended before I could take the car back for an evaluation. Rear hatch, glass, spoiler (x2 because the first one wouldn't stay), bumper beam support, bumper, bumper lower insert all had to be replaced. But in looking at the cost of the hatch and what is entailed, I can see why they just did the band-aid fix.
