Missed getting the car reg as sentry mode was set to 2 mins clip size. I guess that's the default as I'm pretty sure I never changed it.

Anyone recognise the make/model of car? Possible Audi maybe a little s-line badge on the front bumper? Might help me when I let NCP know. Gained a nice scrape on the rear bumper. Perp even tried to "buff it out"!

I have mine set to a minute, which catches the essential arrival and departure activity around car fairly well.

If the other vehicle was there when you arrived and you were parked for more than hour then yes it might have lead to trickier to recover video.
(Can be done by raw video data recovery across storage medium to get at Recent Clips files)

The default is 1 and that’s been like that in mine for 3+ years. You can change it to 3 and above up to 10minutes.

I believe the default used to be 10 and just last year they allowed us to customise the length with a new default duration at 1. This was part of the holiday update 2022.44

I don't have this feature in my US MYLR (on 2024.2.7) and that Not A Tesla App article states that this feature is limited to specific regions (parts of Europe as of November 2022 when the article was written). I'm jealous, I wish I could adjust this. Seems strange that it's not worldwide.
