Parking for extended times in cold weather?

I was just thinking about a scenario that will probably happen to me:

What happens when you park the car at the airport at 50% charge in the long term parking lot in freezing temps (say 20F) for a week or so.
How much battery charge will be left when you come back from your trip? Is this doable?

Totally doable, leave Sentry mode off, and don't open the app to check on it. The car will loose very little over the course of a week. FYI, there's a ton of posts on this subject, try the search function and you will get more information on long term parking than you can read.

Agree with 804son. Tons of posts. Genearlly, I've seen: with Sentry, Summon Standy off and not checking the app constantly. You'll lose 1 mi/day in warm weather and maybe 2-3 miles/day in extreme cold.

When you're back you might see the soc a few percent lower but that's not lost energy. It's just that the battery is cold and cannot provide all the power. That's why it shouldn't be left at very low soc. But 50% should be fine.
