Ohiya Casino Niobrara Nebraska

I am meeting some friends and golfing at Ohiya Casino near Niobrara, NE, then staying the night there. I emailed the hotel about EV charging but unsurprisingly haven’t heard back and don’t expect them to have dedicated EV charging since most places that do, market it to their guests. I’m wondering if anyone has stayed here and found even 110 on a light pole or anything like that in the parking lot? I’m going to come up about 30mi short of making a round trip without going all the way over to Sioux City to charge.

I think your odds of finding anyone on here that has been there are pretty slim given the location. I highly doubt they have an EV charger as well otherwise it would be on plugshare. I'd also be operating on the assumption that there isn't an outlet to charge off of. If there is great, but again planning that there isn't...

Without knowing where you're coming from the "best" option is the supercharger at Sioux City, followed by 2 CCS chargers in Norfolk (i'm assuming this isn't an option for you if the S in your signature is accurate), followed by some various other options including NEMA 14-50 campgrounds scattered around and potentially a J-1772 in Norfolk, again depending on where you are coming from. I'd personally be planning on hitting Sioux City.

There are RV campgrounds in most towns, so make sure you have your NEMA 14-50 adapter. Only issue might be that the campground could possibly be full due to being 4th of July weekend. Just looking around on Google Maps I see a lot of campgrounds that you can use.

Figured I’d ask, not sure there’s a better place for it. It’s not far from Sioux City And I know there was a lot of chatter on here about the Sioux City supercharger, so I figure there is a decent audience here.

I updated my sig as I hadn’t been here for awhile. Coming from just outside of Omaha. I need to see what adapters I have and determine if it’s worth the stop in Norfolk. Last time I was through there the NPPD charger was the only one available and it was so slow. I see they have a couple newer chargers there but they don’t look super reliable. I’ll probably plan on going through Sioux City just to be safe.

Not going for a few more weeks. Thanks definitely keep a 14-50 and a few other adapters and keep an eye out for campgrounds when things get scary low, just hoping to avoid that if I can.

For sure no worries in asking. Like I said though you are looking at a relatively obscure spot. If like you said, you are anywhere near Omaha, it is going to be quick charges at the Sioux City SC either or both ways. And from my location at ~132nd and Center in Omaha ICE or EV aside, the I-29 route through Sioux City is the quickest so it isn't like you are going incredibly out of your way.

Even with the 2020 now now I'm doubting you are CCS compatible to make it worth the effort to stop in Norfolk.
