Reminds me of a tarted-up Kia Soul...

And man that's a big rear end with a small hatch.

Also think 200 miles for the "short range" version is perhaps too low without a massive price drop.

Yup, hatch is small. Sinks into the rear-bumper section.
But besides that, I think it is more striking-looking than the Ocean.

Hype and marketing speculation of the future. We have all seen this before.

One thing is for sure - There will be lots of changes in the next few years with who survives, energy types (Petrol, carbon neutral synthetic fuels - look at what F1 is pioneering) and battery tech.

Is Fisker really shipping any production cars?

ETA: 3000 ish so far? Maybe 35-30k this year? Seems like a lot of new EV makers project shipping 30k in the first year, and it slips all year and never really takes off. Rivian up to 50k total built soon?

Lucid doing who knows what, not even 8k yet.

Ramping production is extremely hard. Still not holding my breath for any new EV makes. Some legacy companies seem to be able to ramp up better, but they still have tons of pain getting going.

Is Fisker really shipping any production cars?

Friend of ours put in a reservation for a Fisker Ocean (limited-edition One version) about two years ago, over the weekend he updated us that they've e-mailed him that his car is enroute via the slow boat from Europe, so presumably will be able to pick it up in a couple of weeks. we shall see.

With the speed at which the car market is changing, a better name might be the Fisker Prune.
