Different rear motor(now), at least for model 3's. I suspect the model Y is the same(different) motor. Do a search for "980".
Early AWD model 3's were limited in software to have the rear motor put out less power, even though the AWD and P versions had exactly the same hardware.
The model Y performance has two motors like the long range but the rear motor is larger unlike the long range. Gone are the days when you could for $2000 buy the acceleration boost software upgrade which brings the model Y long range dangerously close to the model Y performance 0 to 60 time just about one car length max.
It makes sense they suspended the acceleration boost option because it makes the car too close to the performance.
