Is your son's name on the purchase agreement? If not, he can't.

He may be able to pickup but a power of attorney would be required.

You could look into "Carrier Direct" to your home from Paramus if they offer it, worst case scenario. It will cost ~$500 probably.

It says in the agreement that all peopled listed on the registration have to be present at delivery.

Unless the agreement is under your Son's name. He will not be able to. If the agreement has 2 names, both of those people will need to be there to take delivery. You can ask the SC if they could deliver to your house. I know someone that did that and Tesla didn't have a problem delivering it to them at their house. But they could only do that M-F timeframe of 6 hour window vs exact time.
