How To Get Tesla To Acknowledge A Third-party Purchase Of A Used Tesla?

I've been told to email [email protected].

How long should I wait for a response before I conclude that that email address is dead?

This seems to be necessary before I can get Tesla to service the car I bought.

It took about a week after emailing them to have it show up in my owner account. Make sure you include all of the information they ask for on the website if you want the process to move faster. I forgot the phone number and it added another day or two for the follow up emails.

I pulled that right off the website today. If I were you, I’d just resend to that one and not wait. But that’s just me.

I checked and it's actually already been a week. I resent to the other address.

I expect to get absolutely nothing out of Tesla by doing this. Next week, if there's no action (which I expect), then I'll call them up again and start reading them the riot act...

I bought a used P85D from a non-Tesla dealer 3 weeks ago. Same day I emailed them the documents and info they requested. After a week I didn't hear anything back and my Tesla account was still showing no vehicle registered to me so I decided to use the chat feature on their support section. That person escalated it and my car was linked within a couple hours.
