I got solar installed with Tesla Energy. It is time for me to pay 10% downpayment (taking 10 year loan from them).
Question is how to pay them.
Only option they give is this 'Plaid' which I find quite ridiculous. I need to give my login credentials, which means they have full control of the the account including fetching full history and more. I read through Plaid's agreement and fine print, no where does it say it limits what it fetches from my account.
Why can't Tesla let me provide bank account and routing number? Why do I need to hand over my account to some third party?
How do you pay them? Through Plaid?
