Eigenfrequency sporadically shaking steering wheel on MYLR

With the original 20' wheels and now with the new 19' wheels for winter I experience a sporadic eigenfrequency on rather good quality roads. (Those of you who studied engineering should know about eigenfrequencies that may happen with dynamical systems such as spring-damping systems). What do I observe:
On rather smooth (good quality pavement) roads, apparent very small perturbations randomly trigger these vibrations of the steering wheel and it feels like they come from the front axle. The critical speed range for occurrence is between 40 and 60 mph. The car rides very smoothly at higher speeds and at lower speeds (although too hard for my wife). On normal (low-quality) roads the eigenfrequency is triggered only seldom.
It appears that my car has a problem with the front spring-damper system (Mod Y, 2022).
Is there any knowledge out there about that dynamic response of the front wheels?
I am almost sure it is not a wheel balancing problem.
Any ideas?
