I converted a Datsun 100A years ago. Originally it was using lead acid batteries, but then upgraded to Nissan Leaf lithium cells.
This started as a joke. Datsun 100A is traditionally called "sata-amppeeri" in Finnish, meaning " one hundred Amps". That already sounds like an electric car name, doesn't it? So I bought the cheapest 100A in Finland and started the conversion.
