Chasing the mythical iPhone screen mount

I would like to have my iPhone mounted to a charging disc attached to my screen so that I can simply attach my phone and drive with my phone charging on the left upper side of the screen.

I have tried three different brands from mag back and others, all with the same results: the first time there is ever a hot day, even with a windshield cover, the tape behind the mount gets soft and melts, and eventually the iPhone and the mount fall off.

Is there any professional solution to this or am I just chasing unicorns?

Not really addressing your specific point. But I use a version of this holder, which sits behind the steering wheel. Out of the holders I've used this is by far the best setup.
