Yep, I'll be buying in, part for me and part just to support a guy/company actually doing game-changing and revolutionary things in the world. Call me a blind fanatic but between SpaceX and Tesla I'm just blown away time and time again. I'll put my money there. Having a fast, efficient, awesome car is just icing on the cake.

Looks to be about the same overall length as the 3, but with a higher roof to allow the extra seats at the expense of storage in the rear?
Really is the little brother/sister of the X & 3. Shares so many of the design cues. I like it, also that it doesn't immediately make the 3 feel obsolete, it's just slightly different.

The presentation was so light on detail but it looks like the actual site is up now with a bunch more detail - Model Y | Tesla.
Definitely a lot more info than the e-tron site that Audi proudly emailed me about today - that doesn't even show the range i.e. the #1 question of any EV buyer??

Ah, was trying to tell if they was the case or not.
The price is actually not bad. Is it also going up 3% on Monday? It's currently about the same price as what I paid for my AWD 3 due the AWD version of this.
I thought that then quickly compared to 3, S and X and it's about right, relatively speaking?
I wonder if $3200 vs $1000 is to deter the kind of folks who put down the $1000 then moaned for 2 years about the SR not being available?

Got the Audi email too and noticed the same thing. Like they were scared to mention range.

If I option it the same way as my 3 with white including and the new AP (not EAP) is actually 2k less then my 3. Add the 7 seat interior and it's 2k more.
Too bad it's a longer wait for the 7seat option. You are basically getting a 3 with more headroom otherwise.

Yeah it's bizarre. Not to derail this topic but if you ask me the e-tron is just another token gesture from a company that isn't really bought into this whole electric thing but needs to show that it's "trying".
