There's still over $7 million dollars available. To say it's about to run out is being a little extreme.
I don't think anyone believes that it will last another 4 months but saying that it is about to run out because it won't last another 4 months seems a little off. It has slowed down a lot in the last couple of weeks but the initial round of deliveries has eaten up a good chunk of what was once there.Tesla told me that. He said before Model 3 began deliveries on May 30, there was $13 million. Today, one month later, there is only $7 million. He said flat out that there is no way it will last for another 4 months when dual motor deliveries begin. The Model 3 essentially used up most of the funds.
The BC CEV incentive is about to run out. Does anyone know what the chances are that it will be renewed?
I was able to configure in April and have been refreshing my account since then holding out for the hope of All wheel Drive. I have been watching the CEV rebate page almost daily and seeing it drastically fall over the last month as stated above from the 13 mill to now 7 mill.
As of 2 days ago none of us could order AWD in Canada so I decided the 11000 dollar swing of losing the rebate and having to pay for AWD just wasn’t worth it so I reluctantly configured. Haha and after all that literally the next day AWD opens up to all. Was depressing and funny at the same time. Thankfully after seeing that it’s 3-5 months to get a car I also believe that the rebate in BC will be gone by the time anyone in BC gets there AWD. When I phoned once The Tesla store said they was a big push in the last month but they are still delivering around 13 per day at a Vancouver store. Even 10 per day would be 1.5 million a month gone and that’s only for Tesla’s, not including leafs bolts and hybrids so no way it’s going to be around in 3 to 5 months.
And for me it worked out great, filled out my paperwork right after configuring and what do you know they have a my build sitting in Vancouver assigned my vin today and pick up on Friday. Most likely because I live in Canada and don’t affect the tax credit and delivering Friday will give them higher numbers for the end of the quarter.
I ordered my White, Premium w/ Aero 10 days ago and heard nothing.
Your order page should have a delivery time frame. What does it say? Also, did you not order AP? That may delay you if that's the case since AP is easy "flip of a switch" money for Tesla.

I just couldn't justify the 10k difference for awd (5k rebate + 5300 option).
but that's based on the current number of deliveries continuing. We know that at least 3 truck loads of cars arrived last week so one can only assume that the amount of model 3 deliveries is on the rise.Latest spreadsheet attached. Available funds have gone from $3,781,833 a week ago (Aug. 19) to $3,396,833 today (Aug. 26) - so about
$385,000 in one week. At this rate, that leaves just under 9 weeks until it's all gone.
