Accident repairs

Was speaking to an authorized body shop (Roadster is in for minor repair) and they'd already had in their first Model X to work on. The owner tried to reverse out of their garage with the trunk fully open....Model X is high, it didn't end well....Ouch.

(For obvious reasons I'm not going to state which body shop or give clues as to the owner)

Wouldn't happen in an ICE. The noise from the engine through the open rear hatch would alert you that something is wrong.

Ouch. I guess could have been worse if the FWDs were open. I wonder if the car will let you drive with them open.

My cars bug the crap out of me if I try to take it out of park with the hatch unlocked. DING DING DING big warning on the instrument cluster, picture of the problem. It can be overridden with a button, but the warning is not subtle.

Doesn't the Model X freak out if you leave the hatch or doors open?

sounds like its going to be costly.

I've moved my S with the tailgate open, and yes I think it yells at you.
