I bought a Model S in Sept 2016 and had it fully wrapped with XPEL and coated with Nanolex. The cost was significant, but the paint is in perfect condition. The wrap has no fading or issues and nobody knows it’s wrapped. One of the best benefits of the coating is saving on details. I have never waxed my car or detailed the exterior. The only exterior maintenance has been to wash it, and the mirror finish with showroom shine is on par with or better than any new Tesla I see out and about.
The car is garage kept but from new through the start of Covid was often parked outside at a train station.
