    AsymCAR

A decent podcast about the auto industry. They talk about Tesla Motors quite a bit. Though I'd link it here incase anyone was interested. Asymcar | Learn about the future of the automobile They are good discussions if you can get past one of the guys using the mic on their laptop.

    SpaceX

SpaceX keeps getting these rewards but I will remind you that they keep slipping their launch dates. Until SpaceX is launching every month I don't think its a good idea for them to go public.

Tesla / Google Partnership, Coming Soon?

Elon also mentioned self driving cars at last years annual shareholder meeting if memory serves me right.

    Tesla Buyout Possible

If Tesla sold this early it would be a tragedy. No doubt whom ever bought the company would not have the same vision and drive that Elon has.

    Model X Tally

Here is the reservations for the first quarters for each vehicle. The Model S is slightly ahead but the Model X is catching up. I wouldn't be surprised if After 4 quarters the Model X will have more reservations than the Model S did after 4 quarters.

Model S V.S. Model X the first three quarters

I figured I'd start posting some of the graph's I've made of Tesla statistics. This one shows us the Model S compared to the Model X in its first 3 quarters of reservations. Other than the first quarter Tesla has not released any Model X data. I'm pulling this information from the forums here...

    TSLA Investor Discussions

As much as I am a fan of Tesla I don't favor the tax subsidy. Call me old fashion but I think its best for Tesla to be able to sell these vehicles without having to rely on this subsidy. And as a tax payer its hard for me to feel good about people getting a subsidy on a luxury vehicle.

    TSLA Investor Discussions

My bad was thinking month for some silly reason. Previous post is invalid. At 2900 a quarter and using 2300 as our base from cancellation your looking at about 750 a month which is just under their current production rate. They will need to double demand to keep up with production.

    TSLA Investor Discussions

They need to hit a production rate of 400 cars per week for 2013. That is just over 20,000 Units for the year. Their current reservations are coming it at 2900 a month. While they did have 1200 reservation cancellations this month that number is expected to drop. So if we split the difference...

    Anti-Tesla Gibberish

I would advise anyone looking for investment advice to stay away from most main stream analysts. The independent bloggers and usually a lot more accurate. See Phillip Elmer-Dewitt's report card on Apple analysts. The bloggers usually win out as a whole vs the "Professions"

Analyst: Tesla cuts 3rd quarter Model S production to 500

Agreed, if you follow Apples earnings the amateurs almost always outperform the profession analysts's as a whole. Here's a link to last quarters analysis report card. Link

Analyst: Tesla cuts 3rd quarter Model S production to 500

I look forward to the upcoming 2Q SEC filing and earnings call, should provide details if their production ramp up is going slower than expected. They need to on average increase their daily production by 14 cars a a month to get near the 5000 Model S's by the end of 2012. I'd rather they take...

    Rumor: Apple buying Tesla

I agree that Tim Cook is more of a administrator than a visionary. But Apple does not have a track record of buying into new markets. Most of their acqusitions have always been to complement their own products. You could argue that Tesla is more of a electronic device than a traditional vehicle...

    Rumor: Apple buying Tesla

Agreed, I don't think Apple would want to buy Tesla. But Tesla does have a excitement around it, and a partnership of technology integrations like Siri would be a boost for Apple and Tesla. Apple would get to be integrated in a car that is seen as a innovator and Tesla will get the press that...
