    Supercharger - Sioux City, IA

Exactly, I think it took Tesla over a week to add it to the navigation. I read somewhere that ABRP gets their data from supercharge.info. When I started my trip on May 17, Sioux City did not show up on my pre planning with ABRP. I was happy to see it open in ABRP as I checked my route the night...

    Supercharger - Sioux City, IA

When I was about to leave Sioux Falls, I had no destination on the navigation system. I pressed the charger icon and zoomed out, I could see the charge station in Council Bluffs but not Sioux City.

    Supercharger - Sioux City, IA

I was lucky to be able to charge there on May 26, on our way home to Dallas. The car did not show the chargers on the navigation but ABRP showed it open, was glad as we would not have made it to Council Bluffs SC

Ranch Market is a well supplied mini supermarket! I was very pleased with their facilities and was happy to buy some fruits and snacks for our trip to Colorado! Thanks to Ranch Market for hosting Superchargers in a great location!

    Supercharger - Clayton, NM

Made it to Clayton today on our way to Estes Park. Great location but weird parking arrangement. After driving in and was about to plug, wife said wait, don’t plug yet. I can open the door! The next stall was blocking her door! Otherwise Ranch Market is great little supermarket!

Totally agree, if I turn on the hotels filters 3/4 of the chargers disappear.

Owners delivery stories, photos and first impressions

I bought my 2015 S85D in March 2019 and took delivery in April. It’s a May 2015 build. It has everything except the air suspension which I did not want. I’ve never heard of Monterrey Blue, I think you mean Pacific Metallic Blue, which is the original blue and my favorite. Tesla had already...

Thanks for the link. It wasn’t showing on my PlugShare app but your link opened it! The PlugShare app filters are flaky. I have the Coming Soon filter turned on and it still doesn’t show it.

I know it’s a different topic, but just noticed in supercharge.info that a permit was issued for College Station! Some progress, slowly but surely!

    Supercharger - Clayton, NM

Totally agree. Every time we stop at a Supercharger and use their facilities we always purchase food, snacks, sometimes even baby clothes! Extremely happy Clayton is now open. But there is still more needed. Lubbock, Clovis, Ruidoso to name a few.

Where are the destination chargers in Roswell? I’m looking in PlugShare but can’t see them. Only wall sockets on a couple of hotels north of town.

    12v battery warranty?

The 12v battery alert just came on in my 2015 S85D CPO bought from Tesla in April 2019. I asked if it was covered under my warranty and they said it is a wearable item and not covered by the used car 4 year/50K warranty. They charged me $237.11 to replace. Did it in less than 48 hours...

    12v battery warranty?

This is a year later, but I thought to chip in and tell you guys, my 2015 S85D just showed the 12v battery alert last Monday 2/1/2021. I scheduled an appointment through the Tesla app and was given a Friday appointment. Then Tuesday got a call from Tesla stating they had an opening for...

We are hoping to drive the Albuquerque to Farmington route on our 2015 S85D sometime this spring (COVID permitting as we are seniors). We currently get 239-240 miles out of a 90% charge and hope to make theater leg without issues. We will be enroute to Portland but plan to spend at least 2...

Amarillo to Trinidad, CO supercharger stats - round trip

I don’t have a 3, mine is a 2015 S85D. At 100% I get 267 range. I have not tried that but get the same warning on ABRP. With 320 miles at 100%, I would feel confident, weather cooperating. As you come down Dalhart, you can always get a boost at the city park NEMA 14-50 should you need it, but...

congratulations. I bought my 2015 S85D with 12,004 miles in April 2019. Love it. Mine was in San Diego and I decided to fly there to pick it up and drive it back to Dallas. Had a great time driving it back. Saved 2-3 weeks waiting that would have killed me! LOL. It took 13 days from placing...

I want to buy a used S with free supercharging. Should I go Private or Tesla ?

Not insinuating the warranty would l apply to cosmetic repairs. Since Tesla claims the car has been repaired to meet their specifications, I would expect any accident damage, including cosmetic, would be repaired. My 12,004 miles, used 2015 S85D (no accidents, clear CarFax) had a couple of...

I want to buy a used S with free supercharging. Should I go Private or Tesla ?

Initially I thought the same, but then remember, Tesla does give you 4 years/50K mile warranty so maybe that may work out. It would be helpful if one could inspect and test drive the car before buying, but that’s not the Tesla way. Also noticed that particular car sold.

Amarillo to Trinidad, CO supercharger stats - round trip

Since we now have Henrietta SC, I would skip Denton. Go on 287 to I-35W, south to loop 820, there head east to 183 all the way to downtown Dallas where you will get on I-45 to Houston.

    Supercharger - Clayton, NM

I’ve never used winter tires in Texas (lived in the DFW area over 40 years). If weather is not good in Ratón pass, chains will be helpful. But that’s going to hurt your range. Ratón KOA and Dalhart City park have NEMA14-50. Safe travels. Edit: After some thinking, I think I would head east on...

I think I read a post that the Clayton permit was not for construction, but for a feasibility study. Can anyone validate if it’s true? It has been almost 2 months (July 21) and no sign of construction. Maybe Elon will get to it by the time Giga Texas is open and he needs to ship cybertrucks to...

    Wiki Model S Delivery Update

I had a Cashier’s check from my bank a few days before delivery. I uploaded a copy of the check to my Tesla account. I took it with me when I flew to California to pick up the car at the San Diego Delivery Center. Colton, my delivery specialist was very nice and answered all my questions...

I want to buy a used S with free supercharging. Should I go Private or Tesla ?

Here is a car I would buy if I was looking to buy now. 2016 Model S | Tesla With 4 years/50K mile warranty, this car can be in warranty up until it’s 96K miles (assuming your drive about 12,500 miles a year).

I’m in Texas and my car was in San Diego. I chose to go pick it up. Best decision I made. Although the purchase experience wasn’t perfect, the delivery was great. 13 days from deposit to delivery. To everyone buying, be patient! Once you get your car, all your buying pains will go away! The...
