Thanks for the info. Had no idea it was available outside of Tesla. We just went out and slapped the port door shut that they said needed replacement now it’s working again. Thanks to all who help with info on this forum it’s a great source for knowledge.
Just picked up our 2013 p85 $2050 for dcdc converter replacement. No warning car would not open doors or turn on. Had it towed to shop. Now that we picked it up it’s showing the port door open even though it’s closed. Happened on the tow over lol.
Just picked up car. Reads Asy,dcdc converter 1850.00 when asked to describe its function. It’s the equivalent of a ice alternator. Asked to see the part was informed it was sent back to be evaluated. This new part comes with s 2 year warranty. Take care
Beware of the relay between the service battery and the main battery pack. They just replaced mine in my 2013 p85 it’s cost is $2300 for the part alone. No explanation as to why the relay failed. Car has 70k miles. Our 12 volt has been replaced 3 times. Other non warranty items replaced. $600...
