The service centre eventually changed the wire harshness, which they should do in the first place ( instead of replacing the knee air bag), the car works normal since then.

OK, here's the update, i noticed every time after re-intall the app, couple hours there's a privacy agreement pop up, once I click agree, the app lost connection. Weird, not sure if anyone else had similar experience.

I don't have any VPN installed. Funny thing is, after re-install the app, it works fine for several hours then went dark, tried at least five times.

Reinstall the app, seems work for a while. Try again after 10 mins, same problem appeared.

Starting from today, can't use my app to control my Y, always show "check internet connection", even in my garage with good wifi signal. Rebooted my phone and my Y, nothing changed. Phone as key works normally. Have anyone got similar issue before? Can't even use the app to set up service...

WOW, good for you, Tesla seems tough to deal with, they just offer me small compensation.

Had my Y since end of March, unfortunately it had same fault about restrain system error, has been serviced four times, at this point it still sitting in service centre waiting for parts, ETA is end of the week, was told parts might be on B/O. First time mobile service, fixed and only good for...

Actually easy fix, just reinstall the tesla app, and it's all good now!

I don't think so, I try my office which is outdoor parking, shopping mall with outdoor parking, same result. So weird, I guess I need to schedule on site service with Tesla.

Not sure then, I use Mate 20 pro with android 10.

Just pick up my Y couple days ago, everything seems fine, except the famous fit&finish issues. However I have a software problem on my tesla app, no matter where my car is parked, it always show address couple blocks away from the actual location, and the address on the car's screen is 100%...

Tesla include price break down in my invoice, now the LR AWD is a $13700 option, and Y itself is $54900, which just make it qualify for the BC EV incentive. Anyone in BC know more about this? My schedule day is end of the month, if this is coming I will wait till it's official. cheers!

This might not happen, don't hold your breath. Canadian market is not competitive enough.

Just as a commute car SR is totally fine, however if you might do road trip you definitely need the LR; Plus, AWD is essential in BC, safety is priceless.

I wish our government learn from Norway, all EVs are tax free, very simply and effective way to promote EV.

That's great to know! The X I put deposit down come with HW 3.0 with FSD, but only has MCU 1.0, so I have to pay 2k to upgrade that. I will check the battery for sure, which is super important.

After the Model X refreshing, maybe it's good time to buy a used one. I live in Vancouver BC, and found some used ones on Tesla's website, they only offer one year warranty, of course 4 more years for the powertrain. Is there any particular things I should look into? Couple questions for now...

Thanks for your input, very helpful indeed. Try to config online, but I truly don't see the 1a or 1b option. Air suspension is not essential, but I prefer leather over fabric, with vented seats. I probably will use AP on road trips, not daily driving.

Going to order my first EV also the first Tesla, not sure how's the rebate work in BC. For EV car under 77k should qualify for 5k rebate, so if I pre-order one will this qualify for this rebate? Any other federal rebate or incentive? Thanks!
