what about Pueblo to Santa Fe? do I have to worry about that too? :) ... And yeah, going to Montrose turned out to be no problem.

Wiki Largest gaps between Superchargers on US Interstates

headed from Denver to Montrose, CO tomorrow - and I'm nervous about the 140 miles on Rte 285 between Denver and Poncha Springs. It's "just" 140 miles - but through and up mountains, in hot weather. ... Then it's another 125 from Poncha Springs to Montrose.

    Denver to Telluride

thank you - making this trip this weekend and came here exactly for this info - I had been nervous about it. We're staying in Montrose actually - but then driving back and forth to Telluride - then home again.

    Supercharger - New Philadelphia, OH

Thank you for understanding my question, and finally someone answering it. Much appreciated. Wouldn't every new station "split" two other locations? Is it possible to have a new location not be a "splitter"?

    Supercharger - New Philadelphia, OH

no I am not - I addressed this already

    Supercharger - New Philadelphia, OH

Sorry - I'd already seen that, and didn't help at all - thus my original question, which still stands. I must be dense.

    Supercharger - New Philadelphia, OH

no - I was looking for that definition - which is why google is useless, because "Tesla splitter" would only give results having to do with splitting a charging cable or something. I'm trying to understand the supercharger "splitter" lingo. There's a bunch of them. Every time I see "splitter"...

    Supercharger - New Philadelphia, OH

It's not easy to google "Tesla splitter" and get the results I'm looking for. Can someone help me out on what you guys are referring to?

    Navigate on Autopilot not supported

I also picked up M3 LR yesterday. On the way home, a message popped up that the camera calibration was complete. That then enabled me to set all the autopilot stuff. Maybe your cameras just needed to finish calibrating. I don't know exactly what that means - but I do know I saw that message on...

I'll never be able to decide on a color

white + wrap ... I'd have chosen red if it was more maroon. That blaring primary color is not something I've ever liked. I love maroon/burgundy as a color. That's in the running for my wrap choice color at the moment.

I like most of the DJs :)

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

Of course I can use the streaming on the phone - but it's obviously not as convenient. I don't mind people having different opinions, but it doesn't behoove people to be so dismissive of Sirius/XM fans. And most of the replies being dismissive fail to acknowledge the issue. ... As I said before...

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

If Sirius/XM were just music channels, that may be a good retort. But there's much more to it than that, and it's not easily replaceable.

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

Just ordered ... 5-12 weeks. I am patient (in this case). Finally pulled the trigger after a long time of waiting, saving, and finding the right moment. Almost pulled the trigger when the price went down $1,000 briefly - by the time I went to do it, it had gone back up. So that annoyed me - so I...

Model 3 has no spare tire

I just got 2 flats within a month (not a Tesla). One, from a nail that went in the sidewall (where do all these nails come from??) ... and one where I hit a massive pothole at just the right angle - which seems to happen at least every other year.

I'll never be able to decide on a color

speaking of BMW - I've decided to get the white Tesla for now, and then get it wrapped eventually in this awesome color that BMW sells out of the gate. It's copper and amazing...

Michigan - Final Bill for the car

I would also love to know this. At one point, I got this info from somewhere - but I can't remember where or how. So not sure if it's still accurate. But it was something like this .... Destination Fee $ 1125 Doc Fee $ 75 Sales Tax $ 3000 (varies by state and the...

2021 heated steering wheel Discussion thread

Well, this puts it over the top. The Tesla finally has everything (at least) that I love about my Volt. Except Android Auto and Sirius capabilitiy, but I know that's not happening. I still would like a deal on FSD before pulling the trigger (I know, I know).

    2021 Model 3 and differences from 2020

For those asking about heated steering wheels ... I have one in my 2017 Volt, and I can tell you, it's pretty great. It gets warm fast - much faster than the rest of the heating - and it makes things tolerably comfortable to drive right away. I've been wanting a Tesla for a long time, and the...

What are "SiriusXM improvements" ... I thought the Tesla no longer had SiriusXM ... sorry for the dim question.

    Profound progress towards FSD

My apologies if this is the wrong thread, but as I close in on finally pulling the trigger on buying a Tesla (3, LR), I am curious about whether this "problem" has yet been addressed by FSD. I find that pretty much every car I've driven that has some sort of driver assist - including Tesla test...

Buying M3. Any last advice from you'all before I jump?

I'm just waiting to jump in myself ... haven't been driving much this year, since March, or I would've already. Thinking maybe October - after battery upgrade announcement? Only negative I can find is that the colors all suck ... I can't stand primary colors for cars, can't stand white for...
