Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
Regardless of who is right or not -- nobody should ever thread crap a for sale thread. You have an issue with the seller's price or whatever -- you DM them. You don't post anything but positive comments in thread. Any other comments should be deleted and repeat offenders should be banned from...
So that everyone is aware, and this is directly from Tesla:
Standard customers will have the option to upgrade to a Standard Plus at any time. Similarly, anyone who has already bought Standard Plus and wants to convert to Standard is welcome to do so, and we will provide a refund for the...
Does that mean actual disabled speakers or no immersive audio toggle I wonder. I honestly can’t notice a difference when I toggle it on and off in my SR+
Yeah I paid for a paint upgrade too.
I just came to terms with it.
Tesla needs discipline on pricing and to actually deliver on their promises.
Great vehicles and I love mine but that doesn’t make their behavior acceptable. I know the group think around here is that they can do no wrong but...
It's a broken promise IMO. Tesla convinced the lot of us to pay up for SR+ with the promise of hey you're getting all these things extra by doing so. Then they just said JK -- we're giving them to the people who didn't too.... less than a month later.
We’re thinking on the same page. The whole thing with SR orders changing to partial premium interior is giving me hope lol. I’d like to save 2k. I’m already out 500 due to the paint change.
Can someone let us SR+ people know what we lose if we downgrade once the SR Crew starts taking delivery?
If the sound doesn’t differ between SR and SR+ I’m totally downgrading.
I think that is suspect though... because at the very top left it says ‘Model 3 Standard Range’ i don’t think we know if the values are for the plus in particular. They could be for the SR @ 220mi Range.
If you look at the Model 3 site -- Model 3 | Tesla
under Specs (scroll down near the bottom)
Standard and Standard Plus both say:
Battery: Standard Range
and for that matter the vehicle weights are the same.
It's a high likelihood that Standard and Standard Plus are running the 50s. Meaning...
I believe someone who worked in a store mentioned on reddit that HomeLink will be an optional accessory to add to SR/SR+ as in there’s hardware to install.
