YES, GPS enabled hatch height would be very cool! It should have been done years ago on the Model S, but wasn't and now I wish it was available on my new Model Y.
I totally AGREE with you and have had the same problem with my Model S, and now with my Model Y. A simple link to a GPS location, like we have with the Tesla Homelink garage door opener would be great, and save many head impacts.
I ordered my Model Y in early May. My neighbor ordered his Model Y two days before my order. My neighbors Model Y (same color and config as mine) was delivered last week. My EDD has bounced around but is now showing the month of October. Still Waiting
Ordered my Y on May 13, (Long Range All-Wheel Drive, Red Multi-Coat, Black Interior).
Added a Trade In which seemed to delay the process, but is clear now.
Good question, especially considering my new M3 was probably painted within a couple of weeks of delivery (last Monday). I am guessing at least a couple of months before waxing. I also assume careful spot cleaning with a ONR detailing product and soft micro fiber is OK. Anyone have experience...
Our Blue AWD Model 3 was delivered here to the house this morning. Everything looks good and checked out on inspection and the first couple of drives. Wahooo!
We are taking delivery of our Model 3 tomorrow and I am wondering how the phone app works with multiple Tesla's on the same account. Will we have a vehicle selection screen or icon...? I would appreciate input from anyone already experiencing this situation with multiple Tesla's.
I think it will be resolved and move forward quickly for you now. Last week I had several conversations with Sales and found them to be very responsive and supportive. I have a similar config to yours, and expect delivery next Monday. Good Luck!
wcorey I totally agree with you, I have not experienced anything but exceptional service and support these past 5+ years from Tesla Sales and Tesla Service. And today's experience with my Inside Delivery Assistant was no exception.
Just received a call and then email from TESLA IDA with VIN# 638xx and home delivery scheduled next Monday (8/20) am. Very excited after reserving 3/31/16 and then deferring for AWD in December 2017, and finally ordering June 27, 2018.
Called Tesla and was informed that a VIN# has been assign to my M3 order, but did not learn any additional information. At least it seems the process is finally moving forward after this very long wait.
Another data point.
3/31/2016 online reservation deposit the minute that it opened.
Located in Fremont
Contacted in December 2017 and opted to wait for AWD
6/27/18 Order completed as soon as AWD was opened
LR, AWD, Blue, Black Interior ,19" Sport Wheels, EAP
And patiently (?) waiting....no...
Thanks for the info and picture. I'm waiting for our AWD M3, and was worried that the frunk might be smaller with the AWD option. The frunk has been very useful on our Model S.
Thank you for the excellent delivery report. The car is beautiful and I love the white interior. Is there any room in the AWD frunk? Would appreciate a picture if possible.
Thanks!
We love our RED Model S, and have selected the Blue for our Model 3, which we hope to receive in the next month or two. Opted to wait for the AWD version.
Current owner (since April 2013), reserved M3 on first day, in December opted to wait for AWD, finalized configuration Jun 27. My account shows “Delivery between Sep. '18 - Nov. '18”. Live in Fremont, CA.
Since we have drifted off the subject, does anybody have information on the new Supercharger installation on Walnut Ave, near the Fremont Target Store?
JPP Thanks! After many different positions, I finally tried your recommendation to position the unit to the right of the mirror and rotated 90 degrees....and it worked great. SUCCESS!
Thanks for the replies! I will try these locations and hope to find one that works, this time. It has been over 4 years since I last tried with no success. Maybe the system has improved.
I have not found a FASTRAK Transponder mount location that works in my 2013 S85. This is not a problem with the Bay Area bridges as they read license plates and charge my account. But when I drive in the Express lanes, which should be free, I am charged the usage fee. Fastrak has credited my...
I am 3 months shy of my 4 year anniversary, and 100 miles shy of 50K. I purchased the extended warranty last month for peace of mind. I plan to keep the S85 (s/n ....P07773) for atleast 4 more years. Hoping to share garage space and power with a new Model 3 in the next year.
I have been trying all the Tesla Tips and still no success with seeing my contacts when my Samsung S7 Edge was connect via Bluetooth to the car. After a week of attempts, I saw and followed your sequence, and PROBLEM SOLVED! Thanks for posting. :)
GREAT!! I'm glad to see it finally going in, but now that my son has moved to southern California, I will not be needing the Supercharger that I have been requesting in Fresno for nearly 3 years. Now I need one in Murrieta or Temecula. :>)
Congratulations Xhawk101. I believe your P7767 was the first MC Red off the production line. I picked up my MC Red in Fremont, (P7773) just after I saw yours go onto a truck headed for Florida.
We have a pending order placed yesterday for a new MC Red Model S. What config are you ordering?
Yes, I stopped by yesterday around noon, and was hoping to see some activity. Unfortunately, I found what AV-NUT did, "still wrapped" and no sign of any activity.
I was hoping to use the Manteca Super Charge this weekend, as we will be traveling to Clovis to visit the grandkids.
By the way, SFOTurtle, love your image, as that RED is my Tesla.
