Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Had to buy another 100 chairs this morning. My SO bought a few herself. Mine are on margin but I'm a long way from poor. Can't believe how cheap these are. Happy Holiday everyone!

Sorry, no. Verified words and actions are facts. They are not positive or negative. Those are opinions. FUD makers can take any facts (or even hearsay) and spin it into what our emotions and feelings interpret as negative, or positive. Let the FUD be the noise and realize that feelings come...

Thanks for the insight. I believe it's called victim mentality and there's not a simple fix. "A victim mentality is where you often feel like a victim, even when the evidence says otherwise. Signs include frequently blaming others and having trouble accepting personal responsibility." BTW, It...

But wouldn't the Teslabot be in constant contact with the server? How to make pasta? Use a vacuum cleaner? Play chess? Repair a zipper? Blinks eyes and downloads the subroutine. Well, maybe not that last one.

Bought chairs three times today, the last 50 at $864.20 after hours. Now I'm well over 100% in Tesla. Happy, Not worried.

I personally think that Elon can do this. All he needs to do is to apply first principles thinking to the human condition. First step in Master Plan Part V: Minimize fear and greed. Maybe I'll start a thread.

Is it possible that the hooks on the Tesla logo predated this latest electric motor design by more than ten years? I don't think the little hooks were in previous motors. It's interesting that the company that designed the logo, RO Studio also introduced Franz von Holzhausen to Elon. Maybe...

I believe that Elon has decided that the Model 2 will not be designed to have a steering wheel or pedals, so further development and rollout will coincide with the success of level 4-5 of FSD. No sense in hurrying up the mechanical parts right now.

I think I came up with a pretty good shortcut to help driving for the best score. Drive like you are on ice. With regard to turning, stopping, cornering and follow distance! Tried it yesterday and it worked like a charm.

Years ago I was informed by a reliable Porsche dealership source that when the 930 Turbo first came out, most of the cars ended up going into a ditch backwards in the first week of ownership. I'm sure there were deaths. Where's Ralph Nader when you need him?

It is always helpful to ask if an idea helps advance the mission. It would be hard to argue that supercharger expansion and sharing doesn't contribute to the sustainability mission.

[UPDATED] 2 die in Tesla crash - NHTSA reports driver seat occupied

Teslas are already in the area of 10 times less likely to catch fire than an ICE car. How much safer do they need to be? 20 times safer...50....1000? At some point it's just better to stay at home. But stay out of the shower!

Elon's Thanksgiving gift: Beta 5 coming in a few days

I don't know about you all but the most fascinating thing about these latest videos for me is how human like the driving is. I believe one of the marks of true genius is when an idea seems obvious after it is presented. Even if the idea is not completely new, the application of a process or design can be revolutionary in it's effect. Example: The tabless cell design. Even if not completely original, the timing and the...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I completely disagree, and I think that despite the tremendous time we spending debating the facts here, the market is largely irrelevant to the success of the company. The stock goes up $100, it goes down $100 and the construction continues.

The best information available says that the tabless design produces less heat to begin with and of course once the heat is transferred to a plate and the coolant, the transfer to ambient air is simply a radiator so the efficiency improvements are in producing less heat to begin with and in heat...

Miles driven vs miles used on P3D+

    Tesla goes up in flames!

Electrical failures are the second leading cause of car fires. I'm not sure why Teslas would be immune to those so some fires are to be expected, even "spontaneous" fires. I suspect any non-accident related fires are "spontaneous", and these are common in ICE vehicles. I've had occasional ones...
