Model 3 Tearing it Up at the Track

Thanks for this. Super cool. I’m a proud 2 year model S owner and love the way it hugs the road on technical stretches. But no one asked the obvious, elephant in the room question: race range. What is it, and what’s the typical length of these races? Or, how many races in a day can you compete...

2017 MS 75D - Battery Pack degrading much faster than previous generations

OP here. 35.5k miles now, and no further change to rated range, still 236/237 miles. So I'm happy at least the degradation seemed to have slowed / stopped, albeit in the 8-9% range. That said, it also didn't increase at all after multiple attempts to 'cycle' or 'balance' or whatever the BMS...

2017 MS 75D - Battery Pack degrading much faster than previous generations

Did this twice. No difference to rated range at 100%. Thanks. Frustrated at Tesla. I’m considering switching to an inferior hut longer range m3 now because I get close to the wire (10% or below) on road trips more and more as the battery looses capacity.

2017 MS 75D - Battery Pack degrading much faster than previous generations

I will do this and report back, to dispel those who think it's BMS drift. I highly doubt the reading will change. If it doesn't, what would be the suggested next steps?

2017 MS 75D - Battery Pack degrading much faster than previous generations

Thanks for this. Gives me some hope. That said, two owners (S75, S90D) have reported 12-14% degradation in another thread I started.

2017 MS 75D - Battery Pack degrading much faster than previous generations

I've had my car just over 1 year (bought in Nov 2017). It was a service loaner with 5000 miles on it and displayed 252 miles of rated range @ 100% back then. That's 97.3% of original capacity -- acceptable. Fast forward just over a year, now 30k miles total, and I now get 236 miles at 100%. If...
